Filter Press Filtering Part Instructions for Filter Press Users (Chamber Filter Plate,Membrane Filter Plate and Filter Cloth)
Tips for Leo Filter Press users: no membrane plate models are without squeezing function
Filtering parts consist of filter plate, membrane plate and filter cloth. The membrane plate is a body plate covered by membranes at both sides The filter plates, membrane plates and filter cloth are orderly-arranged on the side bars, which forms every single filter chambers one by one.At first, slurry is pumped into the each filter chambers by a feeding pump through the feeding hole which in generally is in the middle of the thrust plate. The filtration is carried out by the pressure produced by the feeding pump. The solid content in the slurry will remain in the filter chamber to form filter cake on the filter cloth .The filtrate will be discharged through water faucet (open discharge) or filtrate valve (closed discharge). If the filter cakes need to be washed, pump washing water through the washing hole which is also on the thrust plate. Similarly, if you want to get filter cakes with lower moisture content, feed in compressed air through the washing hole of the thrust plate to bring away part of water in them (applicable for Uk Model). For membrane filter press, you can let in compressed air to inflate membranes and squeeze all of the filter cakes, which will decrease the moisture content of cakes greatly.(Please visit our website : www.leofilterpress.com to get full information about the membrane squeezing working principle .) for more information for this article please browse this link for full text reading: Filter Press Filtering Part Instructions for Filter Press Users (Chamber Filter Plate,Membrane Filter Plate and Filter Cloth)
